We used to install gutter guards for LeafFilter, so we've seen how the national brands work. Gutter Helmet puts a hood over your existing gutters and does nothing to strengthen the gutter underneath, at a published price of up to $60 a foot.
We start with the gutter itself. We reinforce it with new brackets every 12 inches, then permanently fix a fine stainless steel mesh and aluminum rail guard onto the top. The fine mesh keeps more roof silt out.
